Review analysis summary (Reviewed Oct 22, 2026)

A co-op horror game about fleeing demonic monsters, DEVOUR scores 77.8 and is mostly enjoyed in groups.

👍 Strengths

155 reviews recommend it for playing with friends, describing panicked, funny nights together that turn into shared memories. Multiplayer ranks 102nd of 642. 67 find it fun, and some call it one of their favorite horror games despite a few rough edges. 51 praise the tense atmosphere, with jump scares, flashing UV lights, frightening monster designs and strong sound, and Story & World ranks 575th of 1096. A few reviews also joke that it is a cozy family game.

👎 Where it falls short

58 reviews say the loop gets repetitive, as each map asks for the same item collection and the stalking enemy behaves the same way. Gameplay ranks 1048th of 1396, and Content Volume ranks 882nd of 1351. 48 find the difficulty unfair, saying enemies scale too fast and smaller groups struggle to keep up. 15 say the balance breaks late in a round, with bosses and extra enemies that become overpowered even on easy, and some ask for a cap on how many spawn at once.
