👍 Strengths

105 reviews enjoy the story and its branching choices, saying decisions quietly stack up and shape who survives. 73 praise the visuals, and some single out lifelike character models, facial animation and scenery. Visuals & Sound ranks 722nd of 1249. 62 describe a tense, creepy atmosphere in the dark woods that makes it feel like watching a horror film. Story & World ranks 795th of 1096. Multiplayer ranks 227th of 642, and some enjoy playing it together with friends.

👎 Where it falls short

73 reviews find the writing weak, citing odd pacing, plot holes and scenes that do not connect. 53 have trouble with the controls and camera, pointing to unhelpful angles, imprecise shooting and quick time events that miss inputs, and a few dislike the restrictive chapter select that turns one mistake into a long replay. 44 say the characters are annoying or unlikeable, making foolish choices and jokes that fall flat. Gameplay ranks 998th of 1396, and Content Volume ranks 702nd of 1351.
