Review analysis summary (Reviewed Oct 21, 2026)

An early access open world adventure from a two person team, Luminary scores 71.2 and draws praise for its looks more than its content.

👍 Strengths

50 reviews find it decent fun, and some enjoy exploring, hunting enemies and searching the corners of the map for weapons and chests. 39 say the developers are responsive and putting in the work, and some bought it largely to support the project. Tech & Support ranks 18th of 1399. 38 call it a beautiful looking game, with a few singling out the scenery and the sakura trees. Visuals & Sound ranks 760th of 1249, and Multiplayer ranks 139th of 642.

👎 Where it falls short

Content Volume appears in 64% of analyzed reviews and ranks 1310th of 1351. 61 reviews say there is little content, and some call it an alpha build or a proof of concept that can be finished in a few hours. 27 describe an empty world with the same goblin camps repeated, and some find combat monotonous with only two sword motions. 13 say combat feels clunky, and a few note that the sword makes the bow pointless or that weapons clip through the character. Pricing & Fairness ranks 990th of 1399.
