社内政治が透けてて気持ち悪いとか、バグがひどい、UIが悪いみたいな意見は死ぬほどすでに出ているので、このゲームをプレイするうえで抱えるリスクと求められる覚悟の話をしようと思う。最初期からCPUの使用率が100％に張り付き、またGPUのアップスケーリング前提の設定になっていたりとだいぶ怪しい部分はあった。まともな負荷の範囲に収める技術が無かったのだろうか。しかしこのころはModでCPU負荷を軽減できた。Mod開発者曰くアンチチートが悪さをしているらしい。しかしチートは横行しているため、もしこれが本当なのであれば、ただただ善良な一般プレイヤーが割を食っていることになる。ワイルズ開発もこの説は否定しており、またすでに負荷の90％の軽減に成功したと主張していた。ならばなぜCPU使用率は100％に張り付き、しかもそれがModで軽減できるのか問い詰めたい気分である。これが直近になって改善どころか悪化するとはだれが予想しただろうか。いやもはや多くの人にとって予想通りだったのかもしれないが。 CPU使用率のさらなる悪化、さらに今度はModで軽減できないときた。改善のため手を加えようとして悪化させたのか、はたまたModの締め出しを最優先に着手したのか。後者ならもはやお前らの仕事は何なのかと聞きたくなる精神性である。話はこれだけに留まらない。今度はCPUだけじゃなくメモリの使用率も100％に
