👍 Strengths

109 reviews say it shines with friends, and some note that couch and online co-op are both available. Multiplayer appears in 54% of reviews and ranks 35th of 642. 73 find it fun, enjoying combat full of rolls, dismemberment and managing the chain that ties players together. 31 praise the art style and design, and a few add that the animations suit the gladiator theme. Visuals & Sound ranks 310th of 1249, and Tech & Support ranks 245th of 1399.

👎 Where it falls short

43 reviews say the difficulty spikes sharply, with stacking debuffs, weak upgrades and hits that feel unavoidable on higher tiers. 36 want more content, saying there are few arenas and weapons and that a run is over quickly. Content Volume ranks 1064th of 1351. 23 point to balance problems, from enemy spearmen with too many advantages to debuffs that punish far more than buffs reward. Pricing & Fairness ranks 869th of 1399, and some feel the price is high for what is there.
